Send Mode->"Largest first" and set your primary power to the highest priority and backup power to the lowest. I recommend the following changes to use priority mode: You often see people say "Just use even distribution mode" because they don't realize that priority does nothing without other changes. "Transmitter mode" means "charge stuff in your inventory". "Surge", "Hyper surge", and "God mode" mean essentially the same as "No transfer" except the transfer limit is larger. "Even Distribution" means divide power evenly, regardless of priority setting - if there's a shortage, everything gets less. Transfer mode: "No transfer" means "Work through the list of devices untill you run out of power, in whatever the Send Mode/Recieve mode order is above - random by default." "Largest first" means the device with the largest numeric priority gets power first. This is frequently misunderstood - people set priority numbers and wonder why nothing happens and that's because "Default" means "ignore priority setting". Likewise "smallest first" means the lowest numeric priority is used first. Change it to "largest first" and that means the transmitter with the highest priority setting is used first. If "Send mode" is default, then that means "random order". If you want more deterministic distribution then you make changes. If it runs out of power part way though then there is no way to predict which devices get what power. Energy is transferred from in that random order till it's all gone, or its all satisfied. If there is a shortage then priority and limits matter and a little preparation can make the difference between a graceful recovery and a crashed base.īy default, the transmitters are sorted into a random order, and receivers likewise, with no regard to priority. The first caveat: when there is enough power, everything is satisfied. I see a lot of confusion and misinformation out there. I wish there was a better coverage for what the transfer modes do.
